How the firm invests.

The problem-first filter.

We start with the problem, not the pitch. The best companies exist because something is genuinely broken, expensive, or absent, and someone refuses to accept that. We want founders who can articulate the problem more sharply than the people living it, and who are building because they have to, not because the category is hot.

Founders over everything.

At pre-seed and seed, the product will change, the market will surprise you, and the plan will break. What holds is the founder. We back conviction, speed of learning, and the rare ability to pull talent and capital toward an idea before it is obvious. Boldness matters because the founders worth backing are attempting something most people think is too hard, too early, or too strange.

Tech-enabled and scalable.

Technology has to be doing real work: removing cost, collapsing friction, or making possible something that was not. We are drawn to businesses where each new customer is cheaper to serve than the last, and where growth does not require growing the team in lockstep. Margins, defensibility, and leverage are designed in early, not bolted on.
